Join us up at Terraine for a day dedicated to digging the dirt and putting down roots.
People, plants, and creatures galore will gather at Camp Dig It. Come for the music, food, home tours, and all the dirt on the local ecosystem.
🍃Find hands-on informative fun at Terraine.🏡
🪴Shop local—local plants, that is.💧 At Terraine’s first plant sale, you’ll get a preview of the native and drought-resistant plant palette up here on The West Bench, and you can buy a little sprout to call your own.
11am – 1pm: 🐍 Curious about critters?🦎 Our friends at Scales and Tails will be here with some of their amazing reptile, bird, and bug friends—available to touch and hold (if you’re so inclined). It’s an opportunity for kids young and old to get a glimpse of some creatures you don’t meet every day.
1pm – 2pm: 🏞️Living among the landscape: people and plants.🧑🌾 Get in on a super-informative discussion panel with Amie MacPhee of Cultivate, who created Terraine’s landscape masterplan; Marcus Pulsipher of Loci, the head landscape architect; Ty McCutcheon of Third Cadence, the developer behind Terraine; and Shaun Moser, Manager of the Jordan Valley’s Conservation Garden Park, whose focus is sustainable resource management and localscape benefits. Among the topics they’ll cover: Why the landscape plan is at the heart of Terraine. That it’s not just about water conservation. And how it will get people (especially kids!) outside, walking, hiking, riding bikes, and playing safely in the neighborhood.
🏠 Model homes, music, and more.🎶
Beyond the flora and fauna, there are fresh new homes! Walk through the models, enjoy food and drinks, and see what it looks like to live life up here.
All are welcome! We hope to see you here.🪺
